Only stayed one night, very friendly, helpful staff.Room clean and a good size.Great location for the town centre and railway station. Will stay again when next in WGC.

Room was very clean, the staff really friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was really nice, good selection of cooked meats and cereal . For a budget hotel we were pleasantly suprised. The only thing we didn't like was the really big pillows. We also managed to park around the back for free.

Due to the convenience of the location, I decided to book this hotel for my last business trip. I arrived at the hotel at 13:00 and was extremely disappointed that the Assistant Manager refused to let me check in. I could have understood if this was because the room was not ready, but she stated that this was because of the "policy" of the hotel. I ended up taking a conference call in the reception area. I think some common sense should be used when possible as opposed to sticking to the policy just to make a point. Also, the hotel does not provide a bath math and I was only provide with one towel, therefore I had to return to reception to ask for a second towel for the floor. Somewhat inconvenient. The hotel provides cheap, clean accommodation, but I would not recommend it for business trips.

It's hard to get excited about this Travelodge to be honest. It's very impersonal. Our room was on the second floor.. The furthest room from the entrance with maximum kids and baggage made it very awkward for each day of our stay. The reception is on the first floor which meant no welcome or how's your stay going which makes it more of a bland budget hotel that makes you think not to come back. Putting family rooms so far away makes me want to stay elsewhere next time we come to the area. Clean rooms from a new hotel is standard.. The towels are removed and rarely replaced if you ask for the room to be done. Like another review.. It does what it says.. it's a budget hotel.. it's clean and gives us decent nights sleep. I would not recommend for those with smaller children unless you don't mind a walk. But good location for food and local amenities.

Rooms very basic, comfy bed, bathroom very small, no hairdryer in the room , had to go to reception to get one. No parking on site, had to park in a multi story car park at 9.00 about 10 min walk through a shopping mall. Breakfast rubbish, no fresh orange or apple juice, all out a machine , horrible. Tea/ coffee out a machine again, no tea pots to make a fresh brew, hash browns cooked in fish oil and taste horrible. Yogurt pots half the size than normal.I would not recommed this place at all.Especially for the price they charge.
