Top end prices but well established in the town
Crowded, difficult to access & did not expect to have to pay to park
THIS CAR PARK ALWAYS CREATES BACK LOG OF CARS....all waiting to go in THE John Lewis one...rather than the others around town. Situated outside the store only holds so many cars but cars will queue ages to just get in there. I have been to town..had a quick coffee..paid my bills and walked back passed to see a couple cars that are STILL in the queue..still got engine on..wasting petrol and fumes! I don't get it! It BLOCKS one of the roads frustrating many drivers as it is an access road.
Small carpark with reasonable price to pay... If you get a spot. Only parking for around 70 cars. Spaces are very tight so the chance of the guy parking next to you damaging your car when opening his car door or when "sliding" out is a risk.
Good old fashioned department store with the latest products served by true professionals. The cafe restaurant has a 1st floor window view when you reward yourself with something tasty after your shopping efforts. The store is big enough to get lost in though the staff are always helpful in pointing out the right directions for wherever you need.
