Little expensive but have to say nice friendly staff and good revamp of flooring and newer machines, however they need some mirrors on the wall. Especially by the running machines, it's all very odd running facing a blank wall?! Hope you can take this into consideration and it will be 5 STARS definitely.
Apparently the local council want to close the sports park. That's a shame. A valuable local asset will be lost for good: I can't imagine the council will ever have enough money to build a new dry ski slope or velodrome. The site has been under invested for years meaning demand has fallen. This then makes it an easy target. Perhaps, instead the council should recognise how fortunate we are to have this site and reinvigorate it. If you build it, they will come. I'm sure I heard that somewhere.
Decent facilities for good prices. They can definitely spend a bit on tidying up the place and specially fix their toilets which have cracked walls and looks very shabby. The tennis courts are decent and so is the gym. The spa is the best facility of the place though with nothing to rival it in Welwyn Garden City.
We love it! The best dry ski slope around and a fantastic tennis set up as well. Also great cafe and a trampoline park.. Can easily spend all day here!!
The trampoline Park is great. The tennis courts are mostly great. But give a bunch of kangaroos a six pack of beer and I think they could do a better job managing the place. Phone rings off. Reception don't know what is happening anywhere. Manage to get past the first defence trying to keep you out and you can have a good sporting experience. Ah and I reckon the kangaroos would clean the toilets better.
