A very useful shop for stringed instruments....not many around. Good for spares eg strings, rosin etc, cases and instruments - they stock violins from Elspeth & Chris Roe as well as student models. They also do excellent repairs at a reasonable price.
Weve been buying violins for our three kids for over 10 years and in two countries. Set in a lovely village, Hill & Co. is an absolute delight with carefully curated workshop materials and musical memorabilia testifying to a passionate proprietor. Staff are patient and knowledgable and they maintain excellent selection of instruments, including for serious players. As good as the best in London and Paris.
