Not good I'm afraid the food was inedible. This was the opinion of my two friends also. Surroundings were good , staff very efficient
I love the food here, and the welcome is warm. When I want something well cooked, tasty and honest - and, let's face it, a bit French - this is my recommendation. Booking is advisable as there are a limited number of tables, although there are private rooms for larger parties. In summer you can eat outside, if the noise of the motorway nearby doesn't bother you (it is a constant rumble which some might find off-putting). There's a safe little children's play area with a slide, and there are lovely walks around Ayot Green and Brocket Hall golf course on the doorstep.
Lovely quintessential English pub run by a Frenchman. Lovely food. Great ambience and very friendly staff who are easy on the eye! ;)
Lovely restaurant with a great menu of wonderful food, and a vast a superb selection of wines. Service was excellent and all the staff a delight.
Great atmosphere. Exceptional service. Met the owner, Paul D! Great guy. Had a few drinks with him. Sung a few songs. All good times
