USED THE POST OFFICE TODAY AND THE MALE STAFF MEMBER WHO WAS BELLIGERENT, OVER CHARGED ME FOR A SMALL LIGHTWEIGHT PARCEL I WILL NOT CROSS THAT DOORWAY AGAIN
I worked here, the queues are long because we had short staff and it was the re-opening of a post office in town. All staff on the counter are trained unless they are new. We are a newsagents not an small tesco extra/convenience store so dont be surprised if all you get is sweets, papers, parcels and post office. We have to have the store stocked at all times as we are an off-licence hence why it is open till 8pm everyday. Be patient with staff, especially if they are by themselves, i use to run it by myself at some points and have been spoken too in many rude ways for not serving other when there is queues of 5 on both tills and post office. Absolute shambles. Clueless staff determined to stack the shelves when people are waiting. Resent being disturbed.
For a convenience store, this place isn't very convenient. They're a sweet shop, news agent, Post Office, and parcel collection store. They're trying to do to much and the queues are always awful.
